The weather has turned cold, and the leaves have fallen off the trees.
The bustle and hustle of people going and coming from christmas shopping, makes McMinnville the busy place that it is, this time around.
I threw a warm scarf around my neck and headed out the door with my mother..." Christmas shopping here we come".. I said to myself and slammed the car door shut, as we headed off the the downtown Saturday market.
When we arrived, Mom had me carrie her large grocery bags, but promised that I could look at all the tables to see if there was christmas presents for my friends.
And yes there was,... Well I better not name the presents.. I might give it away to whoever is reading this... :-)
Anyhow... so off we went... tried some chai tea, and looked at all the knitted hats and scarfs.
Some friends that mom knew had a booth and made indian food there. Of course mom said we should get some... It was so spicy! I had to take a drink of water with every bite I took. But it was Yummy!!
After Saturday Market... we ventured to where all the store were, to see if any of the black Friday sails were still going.

A Princess
This is a story of a princess who lives in a tall castle in the middle of nowhere.
She has golden hair that is very long and flowing and has rosy cheeks with blue eyes. Everyday when the princess is not doing chores in the house or reading she sits by the open window and dreams. She dreams of the far away countries and lands that have not been discovered, lands that have fields of flowers and towns with markets.
Her dreams and thoughts are interrupted by a clanging and knocking at her front door.
"Come in. " she says. A short lady with dark hazel eyes glared from the door way.

"Believe you can and you're halfway there."

A chapter in the book.
"Something happened in this book, like I was in a dream.
It seemed like I was there right then, but I wasn't it would seem.
The clouds seemed real and lightning flashed,
the trees swayed back and forth.
Was there a meaning in all this... or was there something more?

The Cloudy Day...
The rain had fallen from the sky,
Just before the day.
I saw it happen right then and there,
As if we were at play.
The clouds came in and there was thunder,
I couldn't tell you why.
As if there was a message there,
Right behind the sky.
The mass of clouds they came together,
Pulling up the fog.
And as I know it came in quick,
Just like a bog.

A story...
The wind blew north and the long tail coat of captain Argon waved in the wind as he walked on the deck of his ship. The boat creaked as we passed the central part of Africa which was known as Zambia.
The deck had gone dark and almost a fade color from the weather, turning the wood a dark brown.
It had been day's since we had set foot on dry land.
A wet hand pressed against my shoulder and grunted as if motioning me to fallow. I made my way along a small passage alley that I had never been on before.
From somewhere I heard a small voice calling out to me. "Jesse?" It called. "Yes." I answered not quite sure where to look. A small light flickered and a old man stepped out of the shadows.

Rime of the Ancient Mariner...
Farewell, farewell! but this I tell

To thee, thou Wedding-Guest!

He prayeth well, who loveth well

Both man and bird and beast.

He prayeth best, who loveth best

All things both great and small;

For the dear God who loveth us,

He made and loveth all.'

A sweet little baby passed away on the 10th of October one whom I will miss.
I watched the clock until it struck ten this morning and we all piled into the car to go to his memorial service. I promised myself I wouldnt cry as I walked in through the doors and took a hand out that had a picture of Nathaniel's face on it. My heart sank was this really happening.
I could not imagine what his parents were going through. I don't need tissues I thought, I'll be just fine. Half way through I just couldnt take it any longer. My eyes filled up with tears as I listened to the music playing, people getting up and sharing about things they remember, or things they had experienced in the past.
What would it be like?
I looked over and saw a really good friend of mine coming towards me, her face full of tears. I couldnt take it any longer and tears streamed down my face as I hugged her.
That had been a sad day, but for Nathaniel he is in the arms of Jesus. In no pain or sadness.
Sweet Child- by Unknown Author (this poem was on the hand out I received)
God made a sweet child a child who
never grew old, He made a smile of sunshine,
He molded a heart of pure gold.
He made that child as close to an angel as anyone ever could be,
God made a sweet child and he gave that dear child to me.
Then God saw His wonderful creation growing very tired and weak
so He wrapped the child in His loving arms and said, " You my child I Keep"
But now my sweet child is and angel free from hurt and pain,
I'll love you forever, until we meet again,
So many times I have missed you So many times I have cried, If all my love
could have saved you sweet child you never would have died.
